  1. Replaced Ceiva frame with PixStar

    I finally "killed" my Ceiva frame and account and replaced the whole thing with a PixStar frame and it's e-mail account to friends and family. The thought of paying a "subscription" to store on the Ceiva servers was a very bad business model. Plus their frame size and resolution was terrible and bad WiFi dongle kept dropping my network. I'm buying more PixStar frames for family.

  2. Improve bezel quality

    This frame is premium price due to its high level of functionality. However, the quality of the bezel is not great and doesn't give a quality feel. I would much happier with the product (even if it cost an additional £50) if the device had a better quality frame (high gloss black for example) and had a bit more substance to its weight.

  5. Allow photos to be displayed in order by upload date.

    I would like the option to view my photos in chronological order. I would like to be able to chose a sort order for my Frame photos that includes by upload date.

  8. play video, preferably from folder of mixed photos and video

    I store folders of mixed photo and short video clips (like from a vacation). It would be nice if when I select that folder to play a slideshow, the frame play BOTH the photos and video clips that are in the same folder. I don't think video is currently supported, but wouldn't that be cool to see a mixed photo and video slideshow?

  9. Remove pictures from Web Albums

    Not all pictures from a web album I'd like to share on my Pix Star. For example if I share my Timeline photos from Facebook, I'd like to hide certain ones. Can that be a feature in the future?

    hello,

    the random mode is already available in the frame. please check this:

    when the slide show is playing, press MENU button.

    u see this menu bar coming out from the left right?

    move down to the 2nd button button from the bottom, it’s called OPTIONS, inside you can configure the random mode.

  11. Drag and drop capability for adding photos to Web Albums.

    Sometimes it is much easier to drag photos to a photo upload box rather than browse to the files and select them. For example, we use iPhoto which has a complicated file structure which makes it hard to find individual photos. To get photos into a Pix Star web album, you need to export the photos first and then select them (creating unnecessary duplicates). It would be great if you could simply select the photos from within iPhoto (or other photo application) and then drag them to a Photo Upload box within the Pix-Star site.   12. Synchronise picture frame clock with web time server

    Hi, I've noticed that the clock in the picture frame slowly drifts over time, this results in the time that my frame switches on and off gradually shifting. As the frame already has access to the internet, could you please consider adding a feature where the frame re-synchronises the clock (perhaps via an NTP server) possibly once a day? This would prevent any drift and keep the clock super accurate. You could even get the clock to auto adjust for daylight savings time.

    I have several Pix-Star frames and i want to send pictures to a common email address so that they all receive the picture and manage them from a single account.
