  1. Data plan?

    I am looking at buying this for my son's 87 year old great-grandmother. But she does not have wifi or even internet access. Could it be possible to connect this through my data plan, like I do for a tablet? Maybe that is already a feature?

  2. Rename web albums

    Please make it possible to rename a web album. Right now it only takes the name from the source folder (OneDrive in my instance). And I've *neatly" ordered my photos in folders accoring to year and subfolders with months. It's confusing when all my albums are "July" (that's our vacation month ;) )

  3. The ability to edit alarms/reminders online

    It would be most helpful to be able to edit existing alarms and reminders online. I would love to be able to change the time on a reminder rather than having to create a new alarm/reminder with the new time and then having to delete the old reminder.

  4. I try to add "Buffalo" in the suggest a city field. It says it is added, but changes it to "Buffalo Lake" in Minnesota.

    It seems this city would have be added outside the "suggest a city" field. Manually added via admin is the solution, I believe.

  5. Automatically move pictures from internal memory to sd card

    Since the SD card is not used to expand the internal memory nor is it accessible through samba (for technical reasons). Could it not be possible to have the option to have internal memory pictures automatically moved to the SD card?

  6. Sort pictures on website in reverse order

    When viewing an album on the website, the photos are sorted by the upload date. It would be much more useful to sort in the reverse order so the most recent are at the top. I often use this web view to see what the most recent photos I uploaded are, and right now I have to scroll to the bottom which takes forever as the photos load 20 at a time.

  7. More detail in the user manual

    Have a "generic" manual to print and send out with the frame. Maybe have a much more detailed manual on-line. Put ALL the information for the settings options in the on-line manual. Update the on-line manual as you make all the wonderful changes it looks like you're making based on customer feedback. Put a link in the printed manual you send out and encourage people to look there for new features.

  8. I think you should respond to customer's email...I have sent an email to you requesting new password. You do not respond

    You should respond to customer's email. I have sent several requesting new password as I cannot get into Wifi and therefore cannot receive pictures. Your service is terrible!!!

  9. Activity Sensor

    I had the Kodak Pulse and it sensed activity in the room and turned the frame on and off. This should be incorporated into the frame design.

  10. Portrait Mode

    The 15 inch Pix-Star Frame has FOUR factory implemented hook-type mounting holes, two for Portrait and two for Landscape. I am told that the frame DOES NOT function in Portrait mode. Being you are enabling the frame to be mounted in the Portrait position, when will you implement the portrait display mode? Even implementing only the photos to be displayed in Portrait mode would be a BIG plus.

    By installing the portrait mounting wholes, you are definitely implying that it will function in that mode.

    Hello,

    This is already an existing feature.

    Go to the change settings menu, then go to

    SLIDE SHOW

    in this menu you have:

    Display mode

    Here change to choose:

    SMART FILL

    this will enlarge pictures when possible, that is to say if the pictures is a least 80% of the size of the screen, if the picture are smaller than that we don’t enlarge them as they look pixelated and quite ugly then.

  12. before a video plays, it shows this screen that tells me that a video is about to play. Why? Skip that and just play the video!

    Here change to choose:

    play automatically.

    Then you won’t have this thumbnail preview anymore.

  13. Automatic Firmware Update

    I once had a problem with the frame which was fixed in one of the updates, but I was not aware about that, as the frame simply shows images all the time and I have no need to look at the menu, so I didn't see the notification.

    It would be really nice if the device could automatically install firmware updates by itself while asleep or early at the morning. You can make this optional, though.

    Is it possible to access the sd card over the network? I only see the "INBOX" folder.

  15. Play videos from and SD card

    I was just about to purchase the 10" frame when I noticed it doesn't play videos from an SD card or USB stick. This is one of the main reasons for me buying a digital Photo frame. Will you be adding this facility as it seems odd that such a high quality frame doesn't offer this option?

  16. Better Instagram Support

    Modern Instagram images are up to 1080x1080 pixels and may be not square. So far I got 800x800 on my frame with white borders on rectangular images to make them square.

    It would be really nice if you can export Instagram images in full resolution and without adding borders.

  17. Loop GIF animations 2

    If I set a slideshow to switch images every 5 minutes and one of the images is a gif animation, it plays just once and then switched to the next image. This ruins the user experience as there is no chance for the family members to re-watch the animation, or show it to someone else.

    The idea is to loop the animation for the same time you show static images. If I have a 20-seconds gif animation and 5-minutes slideshow period, you need to show the animation 15 times instead of just once.

    As this changes the current behavior, maybe…

    Hello,

    it is not easy to do this on video as it works differently.

    also some users don’t want to look their videos. Adding an options to this makes the frame too complicated, it is already too complicated for some users and they complain.

  18. Allow weather to be scheduled for display daily

    The weather function isn't very useful when you never know when it is going to come up on the slide show. It would be great if we could schedule the weather to show up, up to two times per day. This way, for example, I could tell it to display only the weather for 1 hour daily from 7-8am and 8-9pm so we know at a glance what the weather is going to be for that day and prepare for the next day in the evening.

  19. Loop GIF animations

    It would be nice to loop gif animations, instead of staying at the last frame. For instance if I load a 20-seconds animation and the frames changing time is 5 minutes, I see the last frame for too long and looping would be a better option.

  20. Onedrive not really working

    I'm not sure if you realize this but most of my pictures are on OneDrive and I finally looked into why I keep seeing the same pictures over and over. It looks to me that you only look at the root and never show pictures within folders which really needs to get fixed, my other frame (different MFR) does show all pictures in all folders.
