Ability to change orientation
I rotated some photos before sending them, but they got rotated back when they were received by Pixstar.

Actually it is not necessarily a problem on the frame, it usually is a problem with the software you used to rotate the picture?
some software rate on the screen but when you save it doe sNOT save the new orientation, so it is lost. so when your system receive it the rotation info is lost so it can’t find it.
also could you send that picture to us by email to " info@pix-star.com " so that i check the rotation information inside?

Well, it's now 5 years since this issue has been brought up according to the only response from support and my brand new device still has this same problem. Please fix this. And no, it's not the fault of every other phone/software out there.

Just got my PixStar and viewing photos from a USB. So many are the wrong orientation and I’m altering them as they come up but I’m realising the correction is lost next time the photo appears. There are over 600 pics on the USB and no way of knowing which are the wrong orientation if the USB is viewed other than in the frame.bi find it quite ridiculous that people should have to sit, remote in hand and manually change orientation every time - or get a crick in the neck. Surely there’s a fix for this.

I had the same issue and my software saved the orientation and when I uploaded to FB, it had no problem. It's only this site that re-oriented the picture. Now, because there is no way to alter it in the web interface, my elderly parents will have to crank their head sideways to see many of the photos I uploaded.

This is very frustrating. Almost half my photos that I uploaded to the web album are now rotated wrong. It would be too many to email or take to long to figure out which pictures to send. Why isn't there an icon in the web album that we can just click on for each picture to rotate it for the frame?? This is EXTREMELY disappointing. I had it all perfectly organized and took so much time to do this before uploading. I don't want to have to go through that step again.
