Hello,
Understand. It has been like this for 8 years now, since the first pix-star was launched on the market in 2008 and nobody ever complained about these 20 seconds.
It seems to be acceptable and a good solution / method for all our users so far.
Is there any particular reason in your use case that these 20 seconds are now a problem?

Is it possible to copy the photos from the frame to a USB?
I cannot see a way to copy photos from the frame's memory to a USB. Is this possible?

yes, of course.
- go to the FILE MANAGER inside the frame.
- select the pictures to copy.
- press MENU and in the menu that shows up go down to
copy selected to…
- in the next window check the USB as destination the one that you’ve inserted and confirm.

Data plan?
I am looking at buying this for my son's 87 year old great-grandmother. But she does not have wifi or even internet access. Could it be possible to connect this through my data plan, like I do for a tablet? Maybe that is already a feature?

Yes you can put your tablet or smartphone in hotspot mode and connect the frame to this device using the Wifi connection.

Subject line from Pix-Star app doesn't appear as overlay
I have noticed that when sending a photo from the Pix-Star iPhone app, if I complete the optional subject line, it does not appear on the frame when overlay is activated. The overlay feature works fine when sending from a conventional email application, however. Would it be possible to have this corrected? Thank you.
1 voteNo when using the app it does go to the overlay but you can show the subject by activating the “show details of email” in the frame.

Be able to add photos to existing albums.
It seems you can't add upload pictures to an existing Web Album that has been created. You can Copy to an album, but that just requires an extra step of creating a new album, and then copying to the album you want.

yes it is possible from the inbox to copy pictures to an existing pix-star web album.
just select the pictures, then in the drop down menu choose the destination web album and they are copied.

I want the display on all the time. I don't like the motion sensor.
This frame I for my parents and they don't move a lot during the day but enjoy watching the frame. Is there a way to turn off the motion sensor?sleep mode and keep it on all the time?

Actually there is still this feature, no problem.
Same as on the previous Android Pix-Star app, no change.
1- if your mobile phone has physical buttons there are 2 methods to adjust slide show interval:
a- by clicking on the MENU button when the slide show is playing and a menu shows up inside you can change the interval.
b- or by clicking more than 2 seconds with your finder on the picture when slide show is playing this same menu shows up too.
2- If your mobile phone has no physical buttons (for example the “Next”) then use the 2nd method above:
- by clicking more than 2 seconds with your finder on the picture when slide show is playing this same menu shows up too.

Ethernet vs. WIFI
A family member does not have WIFI and so would need to hook directly into their cable modem via ethernet. What is the best solution? And which frame do you recommend?

Hello,
In collage mode if you don’t want pictures to be cropped it’s possible just go to change settings menu then to slide show sub menu and here in the " display mode" choose the " collage x5 without crop " then your pictures will display as they are, no crop.

Connect to a OneDrive shared folder. E.g. I share a folder from my OneDrive to my grandfathers account. I’d like to be able to show these pictures in the shared folder...

Thanks for the wonderful digital picture frame! After using it for a couple days, I thought it would be even better if you could update it such that
folders in my pix-star sync automatically with folders in my smugmug.com account. It will be a win-win-win for you and smugmug and users, for example, I will only need to upload once, either to smugmug or to pix-star, you will not worry about the memory limitation in pix-star (new folders can be downloaded to over write old ones), smugmug will expand the viewers with pix-star.1 vote -
Provide an option to download pictures to your PC
We have people from all over submitting pictures to our frame to keep Mom up to date on our lives. I wish we could download them to my PC both for backup, but also to be able to make prints and videos incorporating those photos.

Such option already exist, select pictures or albums in the pix-star.com web site inside your account and click the button " download selection to the computer".
