What is the point in having different albums if you can play them separately?
I want to display one album at a time. I purchased my frame (10" version ) in March 2015. It will only let me select play all photos or weather. What is the point in having multiple albums if they are just going to display all together anyway? Very disapointed.

actually you can play each album separately one by one, of course.
just go inside the provider line (for instance pixstar) in this new screen you see the list of your albums.
then go INSIDE THAT ALBUM you want to play, press the first line " play all the pictures below" and it will play ONLY that SPECIFIC album.

Weather should update hourly
Weather should update hourly. Only updates once a day early morning which is very misleading in the afternoon.

Show picture that is coming from the inbox.
When I open the inbox and say yes to a new picture, this picture should be desplayed as the next picture.

When you open the inbox manually to confirm the picture you already see it on the screen so you can visualize it as long as you want.
it’s already more or less what you ask for.
Once accepted we can only put it in the slide show and display it at the next rotation depending on the type of slide show normal or random it will have a different position.
We cannot display it again just after you accept all the pictures of the inbox.

Recent photos should not show weather
When I select the "show recent pictures" viewing mode, I get the weather information way too often, and the configuration to show the info every hour I have is not respected.
In practice this mode is not very usable because half of the displayed pictures are weather!

Audio Files Need Feature for Random Play
Currently audio files only can be played in a loop. Need a random play feature.

Internet Radio Station: What type of stream URL format does this device use?
I found a couple station URL's that work. But other formats don't. Can you provide more technical detail as to how the URL stream format needs to be sent.

Activity Sensor
I had the Kodak Pulse and it sensed activity in the room and turned the frame on and off. This should be incorporated into the frame design.

Resize pictures on upload or emailed to the web site before storage. The size should be configured to be the native resolution of the frame retaining aspect ratio.

Play videos from and SD card
I was just about to purchase the 10" frame when I noticed it doesn't play videos from an SD card or USB stick. This is one of the main reasons for me buying a digital Photo frame. Will you be adding this facility as it seems odd that such a high quality frame doesn't offer this option?

Way to see most recent pics in inbox. When i show the frame to people it used to wow I h m when i took a pic of them and it would show up
I have so many inbox pics now that the new ones dont show up quickly, so when i demo the frame people dont see the pic i took of them.

This feature already exist you can activate it in the menu change settings then go to “slide show” and here to “play mode”, inside either use the mode " show latest pictures " or the mode " repeat latest pictures more often".

Display more than one Pix-Star Albums in the Pix-star frame
I would like to be able to define several smaller albums and then send two or more of them to the frame. As for now i have to merge the wanted albums into a "to be displayed" album and then send it to the frame.

This is already possible from inside the frame user interface.
Go to " my web album pictures" and inside go to your provider name ten you can select which album(s) to play.
this is not possible remotely from the web site for technical reasons.

Optional up-scaling of small images
I show Instagram images on the frame that are mostly 800x800 at the moment. This are slightly less than the device resolution, so I got a black frame around images.
This is also essential for gif animations, as they are usually quite small and take about 20-30% of the screen space.
Is there any chance you can add an upscale option, so more screen space is used?

Fit to screen (keep ratio)
which will apply only if the picture is not really small, meaning that the condition will be something like maximum different with the screen less than 30%, otherwise more than that it will be really look too pixelated till not acceptable.

Automatic Firmware Update
I once had a problem with the frame which was fixed in one of the updates, but I was not aware about that, as the frame simply shows images all the time and I have no need to look at the menu, so I didn't see the notification.
It would be really nice if the device could automatically install firmware updates by itself while asleep or early at the morning. You can make this optional, though.

Better Instagram Support
Modern Instagram images are up to 1080x1080 pixels and may be not square. So far I got 800x800 on my frame with white borders on rectangular images to make them square.
It would be really nice if you can export Instagram images in full resolution and without adding borders.

Loop GIF animations 2
If I set a slideshow to switch images every 5 minutes and one of the images is a gif animation, it plays just once and then switched to the next image. This ruins the user experience as there is no chance for the family members to re-watch the animation, or show it to someone else.
The idea is to loop the animation for the same time you show static images. If I have a 20-seconds gif animation and 5-minutes slideshow period, you need to show the animation 15 times instead of just once.
As this changes the current behavior, maybe…

it is not easy to do this on video as it works differently.
also some users don’t want to look their videos. Adding an options to this makes the frame too complicated, it is already too complicated for some users and they complain.

Loop GIF animations
It would be nice to loop gif animations, instead of staying at the last frame. For instance if I load a 20-seconds animation and the frames changing time is 5 minutes, I see the last frame for too long and looping would be a better option.

Do not show the (very) small pictures
The frame show also the very very small picture. They are so small that it is useless to show them. It would be great to be able to configure a requirement for the size of the pictures to be shown.

It is really totally impossible to implement this for DLNA, there is a technical limitation and we can’t do it.

SD CARD Access
Is it possible to access the sd card over the network? I only see the "INBOX" folder.
