The Web Radio genre choices are poor. Pixstar should use SKY.FM internet radio as an example of how "Genre" should be categorized.
SKY.FM Internet radio has over 60 genre classifications - each described and easily understood. The way Pixstar stations are listed, there is no way of knowing what the format of the individual stations is until you listen to sample after sample, which could take hours and hours of hit and miss scrolling.
Bottom line - break the stations down a lot further by category and better describe their format.
I enjoy Relaxing Music, New Age, Nature, Dreamscapes, Love Music,for example, just to name a few. Where exactly do I find this type music in the Web Radio menu?

Great product! My parents who live outside of the US and are technically challenged are very happy to receive this as a gift. They'll enjoy daily surprises of their grand children and I will be able to manage the frame remotely.

fortunately it is impossible because Snapfish does not allow third parties to access their pictures.
It is not a pix-star issue, nobody actually can do it.
We really also would like to support this nice provider….

Add email template/editing for sending photos to friends
Hi,
I would appreciate if I could change default email body when sending photos to friends. My parents are not native english as well as their friends/families. It would be good if I could change the email body somewhere on web portal.
Additionally, Would it be possible to apply different email templates/messages for different email contacts or groups (friends, families,co-workers...)Thanks

Allow changing/pausing radio station while in slide show
When in slide show mode, I want to be able to change the radio channels directly, or at least stop the stream that is currently played.
At the moment, it seems like the radio can only be controlled by going back to the main menu and then having to click through the menu and folders again to go back to the slide show.My use case - I have set up a Dropbox folder with pictures for my parents, which is updated by me and always shown on the frame. Show some screenshots of the troubleshooting on the web-site, and a picture of the remote.
I am trying to figure out remotely why the photos are not being displayed, even though the weather in 5 different cities is being displayed. Trying to tell my mother which button on the remote to hit from just the descriptions is like telling someone from the 1800s how to shift gears in a car.

Create Export Plugin for iPhoto
Shutterfly and Picasa have both created third party plugins for iPhoto that allow you to directly export selected photos to their services from within iPhoto. It would be great if Pix-Star could develop a similar plug-in that would allow a user to directly upload selected photos into a specific Pix-Star web album. Without such a plug in, you need to export photos from iPhoto in order to get them in a file location that you can then upload into a Pix-Star web album. It would be nice to have the ability to manage the folders on the frame from the web site.
Managing the folders on the frame is slow and frustrating. It can be done only by using remote accessing the from folder and then moving them to the new folder. Simple enough but doing it with the remote is slow.

photo selection/move operations
It would be nice to be able to 'select all' and 'move to album'.
Also, actually it's quite confusing when you select a lot of photo and you press 'copy to album', you have a dialog box to confirm, then nothing happens on the interface, so you think nothing is done, but if you wait a green msg appear, maybe you can add a 'processing....' message display.

View actual PixSar screen on PC
As many use this as a way to share photos with our older, less tech savvy parents, it would be nice to be able to see what their screen looks like from a PC. I am in FL and the PixStar is in KY. When they use the remote and can't find this or can't find that, it would be really great to be able to control the screen from my computer. Such as teamviever.com type of application.

Create a new folder that would capture only new arriving pictures.
I like to assign pictures to different folders. One folder capturing all of the new arrivals would make the process easier. Currently, all pictures go into the in box, which contains all pictures. To move pictures to other folders you must view all of the pictures. This takes time and you also need to decide which pics are new, because they are marked that way.
4 votesAfter reviewing this is too complicated for the system to handle.
So we stay with the 2 options we have today:
1- default: all the incoming photo mails go to the INBOX folder.
2- option 2, that u can configure in the change settings which is to save the photo mails in a folder based on the sender email address.

Hello,
you can send pictures by email from the frame to your iphone for example.
you can also download pictures from your computer from the account at www.pix-star.com and then transfer them to your iphone.
