Mark's idea of a "cover" image for an album is interesting. JPEG images are very easy to create in PowerPoint also (do a "save as") to create a title. If you name that file as "0001 Dougs pictures" instead of "Pictures from Doug", I believe it will always stay in the album as the #1 image unless your randomizing the images.

Hello,
May i ask:
these albums are they Pix-Star web albums or RSS album from an external provider that you've linked to the pix-star.com account?

We already have 5 albums up (within 3 days). Several people are contributing pictures and creating albums relating to them and their particular families. When the slide show runs continuously, the albums run together, so it is not clear (especially to my 90 year old mother) where one album stops and a new one starts- and who sent what pictures. I created a .jpg "cover" shot with text to identify a new album, it's content and who contributed it, (e.g., "Photos from Mark").
But as pictures are added, the "cover" gets pushed down the line into the middle of the album. The only way I can figure out to fix it and get it to be the first slide in the album again is to copy it to another folder, delete it from the original album, and then add the copy back to the original album to get it to be the first shot again (then delete it from the place I copied it to.
It would be great if I could simply specify that one particular slide would be the "cover" for each album and would always be the first one displayed when that album is shown- so that the .jpg I made with the text title " Photos from Mark" embedded in it is always the first one in that album that is displayed when that album is viewed.
I am sure this would be useful to others as well.
Thanks for your consideration. The Pix-Star concept is great, and the software will just keep improving I am sure. We already love this frame and have sold a few for you- please keep up the great work!
