Let users define channels to display new/random content
Potential channels include News, Sports, Word, Quotes, History of the day; Flower, Scene, Pet of the day; Weather for a zipcode/location; Holiday countdown; Calendar; etc. CEIVA frames have this capability. Allows new content to come up every day to keep the content interesting.

It would be nice to have the ability to manage the folders on the frame from the web site.
Managing the folders on the frame is slow and frustrating. It can be done only by using remote accessing the from folder and then moving them to the new folder. Simple enough but doing it with the remote is slow.

Weather page viewing options
It would be nice to have one or more of the following options:
1. Display weather photos every n photos. Where n is user selectable in some way. Like show the weather every 10 photos or every 20 photos.
2. Display the weather photos as the first photos when the frame starts up with a prompt to hit some button on the remote of the frame to start my slideshow. This way since I have my frame turn on every morning at 6am, for example, when I wake up and look at the frame it will be showing me what…3 votes -
Integrate PixStar with PhotoCiricle App
Our family heavily uses photocircle to share photos and it would be nice to integrate accounts with our pixstar frames. Do you think this is possible?

We are very sorry but we checked and could not find a way for 3rd parties to access pictures at photcircle or any other method that they provide to share with pix-star.
So we can’t implement anything like this right now.

Ability to connect to CalDAV server
It would be great to add a feature allowing the frame to connect to a CalDAV server and showing its entries on the frame.

Memory full: load image when it is it's turn
I just purchased a frame and found that SAMBA and DLNA downloads all of the images to local memory before playing the slideshow. I purchased this picture frame to show all of our wedding photos. We have a lot of wedding photos. I was hoping that I could just connect this picture frame to a SAMBA share and play all of our pictures. Unfortunately, the picture frame says out of memory now and won't let me copy pictures to an SD card or anything.
Can I get a different display mode called "lazy load"? It shouldn't be too difficult to…

Automatically sync with Flickr photo albums
For some reason, Pix star cannot automatically check for updates in Flickr photo albums. The picture frame should be able to automatically update from all supported cloud services. Implement auto-updating for Flickr and other services which don't currently support auto-updates.

User selects with a tick mark and then that field is displayed.
There is an option to only show date or show date/time (or neither).

MultiFrame acct
a single user interface to manage individual frames in a single pane of glass, but be able to send each of those frames different content , NOT the same content , which is what it seems like it does now.

Move pictures
It would be nice to be able to move pictures rather than copy and then delete them
3 votesWe decided not to implement such feature to avoid that people move them by mistake. We prefer this is done in 2 steps so that it is safer for the user that made a mistake when copying and did not want to copy.

Allow changing/pausing radio station while in slide show
When in slide show mode, I want to be able to change the radio channels directly, or at least stop the stream that is currently played.
At the moment, it seems like the radio can only be controlled by going back to the main menu and then having to click through the menu and folders again to go back to the slide show.My use case - I have set up a Dropbox folder with pictures for my parents, which is updated by me and always shown on the frame. Bulk actions for pictures on the frame - Select ALL
The management of large numbers of pictures on a frame is somewhat cumbersome. While some filters and bulk actions are supported, two things would make management of large numbers of pictures would be
1. An option to display ALL pictures without having to continually
scroll down.
2. A Bulk Action of "Select All".Also it is not clear when using filters if the bulk actions work against ALL pictures, or just those displayed in the filter. This needs to be made clear.

I would like to be able to show my pictures uploaded to Snapfish service.

fortunately it is impossible because Snapfish does not allow third parties to access their pictures.
It is not a pix-star issue, nobody actually can do it.
We really also would like to support this nice provider….

Provide a way to review and approve photos using the Web interface BEFORE they get transferred to the frame
We've got a multi-frame set-up with frames in several buildings. We want to allow people to send photos to the frames, but have to be careful about pranksters sending inappropriate photos. I know we can enable the feature to not automatically display new photos, but somebody has to go to each building to review and approve the photos. It would be nice if we could approve the photos using the Web interface BEFORE they get sent to the frames.
As a workaround, we're going to restrict the frames so only one person can send photos to them, and everyone will…

We use tinybeans app/tinybeans.com to share our child's photos. Would love to have this supported.

We are very sorry but this web site does not provide what we call an “API” for 3rd parties like us to connect to and access your pictures stored there. Unless they implement such API in the future we can’t add this to the lis tof supported external picture storage partners.

Allow the date to be set on the frame from the web site
It would be great if the date could be set on the frame from the website.

View actual PixSar screen on PC
As many use this as a way to share photos with our older, less tech savvy parents, it would be nice to be able to see what their screen looks like from a PC. I am in FL and the PixStar is in KY. When they use the remote and can't find this or can't find that, it would be really great to be able to control the screen from my computer. Such as teamviever.com type of application.
