  1. Since you sort by email sender, could you have a 'select all' within the sort?

    I would like to perform certain actions (download, move to album, etc.) within the sort by email sender feature. A 'select all' option within the sort would save a lot of time.

  2. Set up RSS albums from web interface

    RSS feeds are very difficult to configure in the frame itself, since typing is so painful. Please add a way to configure RSS albums via the web interface, where cut-and-paste would make this a breeze. THANK YOU.

    Please get in contact with the site TinyBeans.com. We use that site for our son's pictures because we are not comfortable using social media. If we could connect to this frame at the same time, we could set up frames for our family members as well, it would be amazing!

  9. Disable/Enable which My Pix-Star Albums in My Web Albums Account are displayed on Pix-Star Photo Frame

    Add a simple way to Disable or Enable a folder so that it will display or not display on the photo frame. We would like to upload a quantity if specific folders into our Pix-Star online web album account but only desire to display certain folders during certain events. Currently we have to delete an entire web album and load another web album for each different but recurring event.

  10. Reminders and iCal (shared calendar)

    Reminders is and under used screen.
    If we could link this to an iCal file from internet/SD/Shared Folder, most likely configured online from the "Reminders"/"Calendar". It would be really usefull. If the "Today" date has events, it would go to a second Screen just Showing the date with the events, and even maybe have a Menu item with "Today", to display events.
    It would even be possible to "Send Messages" to family, like "Joe's Birthday, (555)555-5555 " or "Baby Shower at Michelle's house, 123 Main Steet".

  12. Change any monitor / display into a picture frame!

    Instead of being stuck with just the 2 display screen options you have, offer a stick that can be plugged into any monitor and that monitor then becomes the digital picture frame.

    Much like an Amazon fire stick. It plugs into the display port, then the stick connects to the internet and runs the pix-star software.

  13. Create a handheld product so grandmas can keep in their purse

    I have a friend who, due to a stroke, is struggling with mastering a smartphone. She loves her Pix Star frame at home, but would also love a phone-sized device that could passively receive photos and let her take it with her when lunching with friends.

  14. Reduced access permissions for cloud providers

    The level of permission that your application requests for services like Dropbox is overly broad in nature. This makes it unusable for me as an integration.

    If you could update your integration to Dropbox and request a single folder...

    "App folder – Access to a single folder created specifically for your app."

    ... then I could move whatever photos I want into that folder.

    Just as a heads up, by taking on such a permissive integration model, you're opening yourself up to a much bigger security risk.

    unfortunately we’ve review this with dropbox and it is not possible to access the album and pictures at dropbox without requesting this permission.

    This is because Dropbox does not offer a granularity of it’s permission that would allow something like “read only” or just for some albums.

    This is unfortunate but it is the way dropbox API works right now.

  16. On/off (sleep) button on remote should disable motion sensor

    It honestly doesn't make sense to have the sensor running and waking the frame if I manually choose to put it to sleep.

  17. The ability to crop photos.

    I wish there was the ability to crop photos from within the frame's user interface, the web interface, and the app.

    Not all photos are taken in the orientation of how the frame is displayed and I hate the letterbox effect of many of my photos. I wish there was an option to easily identify and select all photos that are in the orientation opposite of how my frame is displayed. Then give me the ability to permanently crop the photo to fit the display area. Or even better, don't permanently crop the photo, but somehow store how it should…

  18. Memory full: load image when it is it's turn

    I just purchased a frame and found that SAMBA and DLNA downloads all of the images to local memory before playing the slideshow. I purchased this picture frame to show all of our wedding photos. We have a lot of wedding photos. I was hoping that I could just connect this picture frame to a SAMBA share and play all of our pictures. Unfortunately, the picture frame says out of memory now and won't let me copy pictures to an SD card or anything.

    Can I get a different display mode called "lazy load"? It shouldn't be too difficult to…

  19. Ability to choose which phone files are accessed by app.

    I would like to have an option to specifically select which folders the app can access on my phone so I can, for example, limit the apps access to my camera roll only. Right now it is needlessly accessing all the album art from my music files.

    We put here the name of the folder to indicate where the picture is located, in the case of a web album then we indicate “web album” for the user to know from where the pictures comes from.
    So we prefer to keep this to help users find the origin of their pictures.
