    We put here the name of the folder to indicate where the picture is located, in the case of a web album then we indicate “web album” for the user to know from where the pictures comes from.
    So we prefer to keep this to help users find the origin of their pictures.

  2. Provide additional filters that let you play back pictures from 3 months, 6 months, 12 months.

  3. New motion sensor setting - Auto off from inactivity without Auto on

    I would like to turn it on manually, enjoy it for the amount of time I am in front of it, and when I walk away for a specified amount of time it turns off. But later if I simply want to walk past, it doesn't turn on needlessly.

    Due to technical limitations we can’t implement such feature. We can’t detect duplicate pictures because they may be the same picture but have different name, so we can’t just use the file name to check for duplicate, to really find duplicate this would imply we can check the content of the picture itself and compare all the pictures, this is not possible technical in our system.

    We decided not to implement such feature to avoid that people move them by mistake. We prefer this is done in 2 steps so that it is safer for the user that made a mistake when copying and did not want to copy.

  6. O365 integration ::new meeting appointment

    hi,
    I would like a feature which I will be able to create a new meeting appointment from my Business O365 account, and add my email frame xxxx@mypixstar.com in the to: Field.
    the frame will auto accept the meeting and will show it on the screen,

    it could be nice to notify my home kitchen (where the frame is placed on the wall), for dentist appointment, kids school remark....

  7. Automatically sync with Flickr photo albums

    For some reason, Pix star cannot automatically check for updates in Flickr photo albums. The picture frame should be able to automatically update from all supported cloud services. Implement auto-updating for Flickr and other services which don't currently support auto-updates.

  8. ABILITY TO CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ASSOCIATED WITH PIXSTAR FRAME

    Right now I believe you can only set your _____@mypixstar.com account when you register your device.

    i would like an option in the website configuration to change the email address for @mypixstar.com account.

  9. Display on the frame "Photo Title" using "Photo Title" information contained in EXIF

    Currently the frame displays "Photo Title" as the file name. The vast majority of people do not rename their picture files with "Photo Title". Also, using many Web services Pix-star uses a file name with a meaningless RSS number (not the original file name). It will be very useful if an option would be available to display on the frame "Photo Title" using "Photo Title" information contained in EXIF

  10. Update the photos more often

    First of all can I just say that the customer service I've revived from Arnaud had been fantastic.

    However, I would like it if the photos (especially from Google) to be automatically imported more often.

    It says that they are update 4 times a day, so that would theoretically mean that the longest you should have to wait is 6 hours. But I have found that not to be the case.

    From what I can tell, they have only been importing once per day at around 17:00 to 18:00 GMT.

    This isn't a huge problem, but it would be nice…

    Due to huge amount of pictures and web album we have now from these external providers and that the provider don’t provide a solution to notify us when a change is made in their albums, we can’t implement this update to be more often.
    We are very sorry about this.

  13. Allow photos to be stretched to fill the screen - in all cases

    The smart fill option does not really work well. The restriction that the picture has to be a certain resolution before it will be stretched would only make sense for purists. For most people landscapes and even portraits should never be displayed with black bars or as a small box. I have sent high resolution pictures to the frame that don't even fill the frame. At the very least, the user should be given the option to override the minimum resolution requirement. It would be great if this could be done.

  14. I want to have photos play in the order I choose

    I want to have photos in each folder play in the order of my choosing then move on and do the same for the next folder so that I can show all the photos from one event together, then move on to a different event or time period.

  15. Automatically delete older photos from web-feed when upper limit reached

    I have my flickr photos import to Pix-star as a web-album. However, the album has recently stopped updating, as I have over 3000 Flickr photos.

    Ideally, it would be nice not to have that 3000 photo cap. Alternatively, I'd like the option to be able to boot out the older photos when new ones are added, so that the feed continues to update.

  16. Syncing pictures with frame

    I sent photos from Facebook via email from my phone. Those are the only ones that show in my inbox online, but not on the frame itself. How do I I fix this?

  17. Move selected photos between albums

    It would be nice if I could select photos in one album (or inbox) and then move them to another album. Right now, I can select photos, copy them to an album and then delete the selected photos from the first album. A single move option would be easier.

  18. Virtual frame on website

    I'd love to be able to see a virtual version of the frame on the website to see what our Grandma sees on her frame. She has trouble with technology and to see what she sees would be great. Just a small html-5 or flash application that mimics the actual screen with the settings, showing the overlays, transitions, etc.

    I had amazon send the frame to me so I could get it set up and see how it displayed pictures before I sent it off to Grandma, and I'm glad I did. I'm anxious about having settings change when she…

    Hi,
    Please allow the frame to connect to an OwnCloud instance. I have lots of photos in OwnCloud and would love to be able to share these with family members who have the PixStar frame. I don't want to upload these photos to a public cloud provider to be able to share them.

  20. Import picture taken date from Web Album - Google Photos (Picasa, google drive, Google+)

    Hi, we use Google Photos to host pictures for a web album. The grandparents would love to see the date the picture was taken on the Pix-Star frame. Unfortunately, the date-taken metadata doesn't move with the picture from Google to Pix-Star. Could you please update your connection to Google to have the date-taken metadata included with the pictures as they are synchronized?
