Video is a great idea but super challenging with the various formats, frame sizes, aspect ratios, frame rates, field orders, bit rates... etc. just to support HD playback from apple devices alone across versions.. iphone 3, 4, 5, 6 ... would require different player capabilities. perhaps if Pix-Star stuck to two or three popular video formats it would work for most devices but my guess is that this would present a support nightmare. Perhaps an web integration point with youtube might work better but streaming video wirelessly across home networks presents a different set of challenges. Don't get me wrong, I'm a strong vote for adding video capability but do understand the reluctance.
