The ability to upload contact lists.

Ability to choose which phone files are accessed by app.
I would like to have an option to specifically select which folders the app can access on my phone so I can, for example, limit the apps access to my camera roll only. Right now it is needlessly accessing all the album art from my music files.

Radio alarm clock
I think that it would be a great idea for my Pixstar to able to wake me up with my favorite radio stations that i have already configured.
This would be another excellent feature for Pixstar!7 votesThis is outside of the scope of this product which focus on sharing pictures and video between friends and family members.

Develop a PIX-STAR device to display pictures on TV via HDMI
Develop a Pix Star device with a Apple TV like formfactor to interface with the TV via HDMI and have the same functionality/menu as a standard Pix Star wi-fi picture frame (without the display screen)

Pause an album
It would be helpful if I could select an album or albums to display. As it is now, the only way to get web albums to stop displaying is to delete them. I'd like to be able to "pause" them.

We are very sorry about this.

I want to have photos play in the order I choose
I want to have photos in each folder play in the order of my choosing then move on and do the same for the next folder so that I can show all the photos from one event together, then move on to a different event or time period.

Better options for captioning the pictures
I would like to see options for picture date (separate from picture details). And Picture Name without file extension.
I also think that in the website where the customer chooses what captioning, that you allow multi-selections so that you (Pix-Star manufacturer) don't have to figure out all the combinations. For example, allow the user to choose multiple items in this list:
- Web Album
- Email subject (without the leading Fwd: or Re:)
- Email Sender
- Email date
- All Picture details
- Picture name (without file extension)
- Picture name (with file extension)
- Picture Date

Set up RSS albums from web interface
RSS feeds are very difficult to configure in the frame itself, since typing is so painful. Please add a way to configure RSS albums via the web interface, where cut-and-paste would make this a breeze. THANK YOU.

Connecting the frame to a NAS over Internet
Hi, I think there are more and more people start using NAS, and I also know the frame support UPnP/DLNA within local network. I would like to suggest if the frame can access a NAS over Internet, via many different channels e.g. FTP or those common media server e.g. Plex, or individual access connection APIs for those common brand for NAS (e.g. asustor, synology, qnap). This will save a lot of time for NAS user to upload the photo to those providers(e.g. Google Photo, SmugMug etc) with limited storage.

You can use SAMBA folder to do more or less the same feature.

Be able to organize your pictures in your inbox
I would like to be able to organize my pictures in my inbox by name or date or anything else like you can do with file explorer on your computer.
If I was able to order them this way I could be able to see easier at a glance what pictures are duplicates or what pictures I still need to upload4 votes -
Indexing big amout of pictures
Hi, I have dozens of thousands of picture on my NAS. I want it to show any pic randomly. But I have to select one folder with less than 10 000 pics otherwise it doesn't work well.
4 votesHello,
Due to technical limitations we can only display around 25,000 pictures max. in 1 slide show for the DLNA, we can’t do more than that.

Easy method to clear album storage and restore audited photos to album / inbox
I like to be able to easily review the hundreds of album photos that are in sync with the inbox and do a clean restore of those pictures to the album. Currently, I go to the network location of pixstar on my pc and audit / delete those photos at location (easier to use photo viewer on PC). Problem is that the web inbox doesn't have a easy method to sync those i didn't delete on the album. So I would like a method to sync from album to inbox.
This will allow the album and inbox to be in…4 votesNot possible due to technical limitations.

Change any monitor / display into a picture frame!
Instead of being stuck with just the 2 display screen options you have, offer a stick that can be plugged into any monitor and that monitor then becomes the digital picture frame.
Much like an Amazon fire stick. It plugs into the display port, then the stick connects to the internet and runs the pix-star software.

Show complete folder directory structure for title
I group my photos first by year and then by subject. My directory structure looks like this:
2015
--- Christmas
--- Vacation at Disney World
--- July 4th at the beach2014
--- Christmas
--- Easter
--- Erik's 30th BirthdayEtc etc etc.
It would be nice if the title would use the structure I show and piece it all together. This way if there is a picture being displayed from Christmas, It would show Christmas 2014 or Christmas 2015 instead of just Christmas. I find that I now have to add the year to all my sub-folders so I…

New motion sensor setting - Auto off from inactivity without Auto on
I would like to turn it on manually, enjoy it for the amount of time I am in front of it, and when I walk away for a specified amount of time it turns off. But later if I simply want to walk past, it doesn't turn on needlessly.

Create a new folder that would capture only new arriving pictures.
I like to assign pictures to different folders. One folder capturing all of the new arrivals would make the process easier. Currently, all pictures go into the in box, which contains all pictures. To move pictures to other folders you must view all of the pictures. This takes time and you also need to decide which pics are new, because they are marked that way.
4 votesAfter reviewing this is too complicated for the system to handle.
So we stay with the 2 options we have today:
1- default: all the incoming photo mails go to the INBOX folder.
2- option 2, that u can configure in the change settings which is to save the photo mails in a folder based on the sender email address.
We thank you for this suggestion. Sorry we can’t make it.

Remove Pause Button Icon From Screen When a Photo is Paused
Often we enjoy leaving a specific photo paused on the screen when we see it cycle through a slide show. Sometimes we leave it up for hours, at times days would be nice, so it looks like a “regular” picture frame. But the pause button icon is also very obviously displayed on the picture about the size of a nickel and greatly detracts from the photo. Can you eliminate that distraction or make it toggle off?
