    A standardized way of implementing this would be to use the EXIF data for retrieving/storing comments or captions (c.f. links below)

    This way, the metadata is always with the photo (as it should be), and no additional data lookups would need to be created.

    Please also allow renaming albums, in addition to renaming photos.
