Weather does not update

I have the same problem I see referenced repeatedly in the Pix-star weather/RSS feed comments. No regular update and a temperature that never changes during the day.

The temperature displayed on weather page for a given location is not what the official actual temperature currently is.

Also, in addition to the "large" temperature displayed (the current temp?) what are the smaller temps; are these the daily low and high temps, or the average low and high temps? It would be nice to know.

My weather hasn't up-dated since I last did a power up.

I have the same problem with mine album and my 3 parents album. Sounds like by the age of the posts that this problem will not be fixed.

where and how to display weather, on which screen?

My weather never changes from what it reports at start up. Left it on for 48 hours, never changed

Have the Weather update every time it's displayed. In my case weather is displayed maybe a couple of times an hour.

It really should be updated more often... especially during normal daytime hours.. looking at the temperature from a midnight time does me no good at 3 pm in the afternoon...

make sure your frame wifi is connected. log into your account at pix-star.com and check that your frame is "online" on the upper right of the screen, not offline.

for several days my weather has not updated, how do I get it to refresh

I have found the weather does not update more than one time per day. Is there any way this can be managed for more updates?

I had a go-'round with a Pix-Star rep the other day about the weather app not being up to date with current weather conditions in the cities I chose to monitor. He confirmed that the info (from weather.com) is updated 4 times a day. I told him this was unsatisfactory and his suggestion was that I use the internet instead. "The pixstar is a picture frame first and foremost."

I removed the weather frames option and now I'm not frustrated by the stale information.
