DLNA/UPnP - How to access your Qnap and play pictures through DLNA from the frame
If you want to play pictures stored in your Qnap directly from your Pix-Star make sure to follow the steps below to expose your folders to the DLNA protocol so that the frame can see them though the network.
In the QNAP NAS:
Open Multimedia Console
Click on Content Management
Go to third tab, which is DLNA
Click on Edit
and add whatever folders or files you want to add.
Go back to the Pix-Star frame and click through the DLNA folder.
There is a long pause, and then the Pix-Star frame loads the photos.
Should be ok now.
