how can I remove the clock / date and time showing on top of the slide show?
By default the slide show shows the date and time at the upper part of the screen.
Of course this is optional you can disable this if you prefer.
When slide show is playing press the MENU button on the remote control or at the back of the unit.
In the menu bar that shows up on the left side go to the 2nd icon from bottom named:
Slideshow Options.
inside go to
clock settings
and then change to
no date & time
(on the last line of the list)
