Any suggestion to improve your Pix-Star?

Disable sensor motion on schedule.

My frame it´s on my living room, and to go to the kitchen I pass in front of it, so in the middle of the night if I go to the kitchen to drink some water the frame turns on.

I would like that the Motion Sensor turn on to had an optional "Do Not turn on the frame between X:XX and X:XX"

In that way I could setup to not turn on say between 23:00 and 06:00, and could pass in front of it on that time frame and it would not turn on.

    Great idea! I think Hans is on the right track except that the fix is even simpler. The current configuration only allows you to set motion OR time. Time should be an Enable/Disable, with on and off times. Motion should also be enable/disable. When both are enabled, the clock set on/off times pre-empt the motion sensor. When clock on/off is disabled then the frame is *always* on/off by motion timer. This can probably be fixed with very few lines of additional code.

    I just got mine yesterday, and liked the sensor, until I went to bed. It is in my bedroom, and even in the dark it sensed movement. I had to change it to the time schedule instead.

    My « old » NIx advance digital frame had that option. And it is super useful!

    I would also like to keep the frame off at night (or whatever time frame I select) even if it detects motion.

    Integrate with smartthings home automation to make this happen. IF time between x -x THEN disable motion sensor.
