    I also like the concept of captions. However I would want the caption/comment to be able to be long enough to put in lots of names for group photos. Like many others on this thread, I'm making an album to help an elderly person remember names & places. Also, rather than removing text from the middle of a description that is too long to be displayed (as in the case of file names), I would also suggest you dynamically switch to a smaller size font if it doesn't or automatically go to a second line display line.

    I noticed back in 2014 you made a way that email could create caption, but that doesn’t help out the people who want to load up pictures using the USB method. Would it be possible to just display the “comment” metadata field imbedded the JPG that users could easily set via the windows properties tab?

    This is the top ranked idea that has been under review for a while. If there is a technical reason why it can’t be implemented or if there is no ongoing development for the frame, maybe just mark it declined?
