Allow you to rename the photos and or add captions
Would be nice to have a very brief description/caption displayed with the photo

Competing frames already allow the ability to edit names and captions.
You already have the file name showing on the web portal. Allow people to edit it, and you can rename it on the frame.
You need to add a new field for the caption. Allow people to edit the caption. Otherwise pictures without text reference make absolutely no sense to anyone.

Captions are really needed. Otherwise viewers have no context about the pictures.

my 90 something in-laws would really appreciate being able to see a caption with the photos that the family emails to their digital frame. A lot of us send photos but they are not always clear who is in the photo and a caption below would make a huge difference!

Please make this simple fix. Why can't I add or edit a label. My 87 year old dad needs labels to help him remember. Please pay attention to this important request. Thank you.

January 2018....Still waiting! We bought your product to keep in touch with elderly family members who live over 300 miles away and deal with memory issues. This should be an easy fix!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us rename the photos so our elderly parents with memory issues know what they are looking at!

Totally agree. Just submitted a similar request before I saw this.

My 92 mother can not always identify everyone in the pictures. I would love to add captions to avoid her confusion.

Still waiting on your upgrade. Shouldn't being allowed to caption the picture be automatic? What are you waiting on? This has been an issue for 3 years now.... come on.

Captions - yes. I want to install thousands of pictures to a photoframe. I do not want to individually caption each one. I want the name of the album to appear as the caption for all the pics in that album. So, "Christmas 2014" would appear in each picture in that album. That's how I have my pictures sorted already,

I have my Pix-Star set to display the photo name. Which is fine except Pix-Star removes spaces, dashes and underscores from the picture name so that "John and Mary" "John-and-Mary" or "John_and_Mary" all appear on the frame as JohnandMary. I would like to be able to edit the name to put the spaces back in, or at least not have the spaces, dashed and underscores removed. I bought this frame for my 90 year old aunt and would like her to be able to easily read the caption.

Please add a feature so the photos can be renamed after they are sent to the frame. Right now the only way I (the administrator) can name the photos are to save it to my desktop, rename it, then re-email it to our aunt's photo frame. This would be a time-consuming task to keep up with since many of the photos are sent from the phone from our younger members and not always titled. I see that many other people are also wanting this feature added. Please! This has been an issue since 2014.

A way to edit captions on the web admin pages would be great.
Don't bother putting the ability in the frame itself.

I've learned that the only way to put a caption on a photo in the frame is to fill the subject field on the phone or email BEFORE sending the picture. Once the picture is in on the pixstar website the name of the file cannot be changed, nor can a subject description be added.

Capabilty to rename the picture should an automatic. When a picture is taken it is given the generic name image and a number which makes perfect sense for a camera. Most of the time the pictures are sent straight from the camera or phone without taking time to rename. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add renaming the images to a software upgrade!!

I titled each photo on my computer and numbered them. When they display on the digital screen the titles show up, it also includes the date the I-phone picture was taken automatically.
If you title the photo in the subject box when you email a picture from your phone, I believe that it will show up in the box below the picture on the screen.

That's really the only thing holding me back from buying it. DESPERATELY need to be able to add captions.

A very short caption would be wonderful, especially for all of us who have purchased this frame for grandparents! Currently I try and edit the photo before sending to the frame to include a caption but would rather not have to put text over the photo, rather have a caption underneath.

I agree! Either myself or my daughters sending photos to my father-in-law (grandfather) it would be very helpful for him to be able to read a description of the photos.

Just got this for our 97 year old aunt but almost everyone is sending pics from their phones which doesn't allow for editing the name of the photo. I see that this topic was brought up in 2014! Can't believe it hasn't been resolved. Hope that you can fix it so we can rename the photos already in her frame!
