User specified sort order
I would like to be able to drag & drop images on the web interface to rearrange the order of images to be displayed.
If that is not feasible, then I would like to be able to specify new files names and be able to sort by the file name.

How in the world is sorting not a feature by default?? The lack of ability to rename files or to manually arrange the order is bad enough, but it at the very least we should be able to sort the pictures by file name to make it easier to find and remove duplicates. As far as I'm concerned, this is just one example of how the software developers are a lazy inefficient bunch who do not care about the user experience.

Same as Larry. I need photos to display alphabetically, in accordance with the file name.

This is a huge problem for me. I upload a ton of pictures of my new baby to my mom's frame. I want them to be displayed in chronological order by when they were taken. But when I set Sorting mode to "Oldest First" they get displayed *in the order that I uploaded them*. So it's not really "Oldest First", it's "Oldest to Pix-Star First"! Furthermore, when I drag-and-drop multiple photos into a web album, *they are uploaded in random order*! So, my workaround is to drag-and-drop photos *one-by-one* to ensure that the upload order is the display order that I want. This is very time-consuming and frustrating!
My phone automatically adds a timestamp to the beginning of the photo filename, so the ability to sort by filename would solve my problem well enough. Even better would be to *give users the ability to drag-and-drop the already uploaded photos into the display order they want*. That way, if we upload a photo from a different camera, or one without a timestamp at the front, we can still place it in the display order where we want.

User managed sort order is a strong must have! I have multi-photo sequences that tell a story. Right now they are uploading to a web album in a newest to oldest order. I cannot find anyway to change this. What I would want is to be able to designate sort order: filename (abc.., zyx...), date/time (oldest to newest or reverse), and be able to drag and drop in any order for a manual sort. Please add this functionality!!! Thank you.

After some frustration trying to get photos in sequential order (including deleting multiple photos and multiple uploads), I carefully gave every photo to be uploaded a sequential filename. When Pix-Star uploaded the photos, it assigned a number to the end of each filename that changed my carefully constructed order. When setting up an album for a trip, we want photos in order. Otherwise the album photo order doesn't make sense. This is pretty basic but Pix-Star thwarts any attempt to bring order to an album. If I am wrong, please enlighten me.

It would be nice to sort pics in album so that you don't view a summer scene and then a winter scene back to spring. And I agree with the wedding pics.

Yes, this was an anniversary gift. Would have been nice to show the photos from wedding in time progression through out the 50 years

Agree! I'd love to reorder the pictures in the frame I gave my parents.
