  2. Allow color temperature adjustment

    All 3 frames I've set up display pics much cooler (bluer) than they appear on any other device or in print (and much cooler than intended). Skin tones look zombie-ish. A firmware update allowing adjustment to a warmer color temperature globally would make this a perfect frame. As is, it makes all your good photographic work for naught...

    Hello,

    This was a technical limitation on older hardware.

    Since November 1st, 2015, all new Pix-Star sold on the market have now the possibility to adjust Saturation and HUE in addition to Brightness.

  3. Plan for extra utilization of your server resources around holidays - e.g. Christmas...

    It is reasonable to expect significantly increased traffic around holidays, especially Christmas. Lease extra capacity from providers, like Amazon.

  4. Automatically accept photos and display them without the menu/timer

    Automatically accept photos and display them without the menu/timer, maybe display a star or email icon to indicate they are new.

    When I have automatic enabled, I hear the ding of a new photo, but who knows when it will display. Automatic and show throws up the menu and blocks half of the new picture.

  5. Repeating reminders based on date

    To be able to setup reminders for birthdays, anniversaries, and other yearly repeating reminders. Looks like the only repeating reminders you can setup are by the day of the week.

    While putting the remote behind the device it turned the on/off switch to the off position. The issue was resolved. Thank you.

  7. Show new photos in auto accept mode

    I very much like the auto-accept mode. However I would like to see the picture that just arrived.

    Please: when a new picture arrived via email, wait until the next picture would be displayed, ring the bell, AND show the newly arrived picture.

    If more pictures arrived, they should be shown (with the bell sound) with the normal delay (or when switched to the next manually).

    Hello,

    this mode ALREADY exist inside the frame.

    Right now you are using the “auto accept mode” try to use the 2nd one named " auto accept with notification" this mode will automatically open the photo mail and show it on the screen during 10 seconds before moving to the next one.

  8. Allow user to change the frame's network password

    It would be convenient to be able to change the password found in the ABOUT section on the frame to an easier password to remember when connecting to the frame via the Network section of Windows Explorer.

  10. Dynamically sync photos from Dropbox folder

    Hi,
    I am lokoing at buying a few picture frames for my family.
    I need the frame to be able to connect to a folder in my Dropbox folder structure and dynamically show the contents of that folder.
    When I take a picture with my cell on Christmas Eve, that picture will travel up to a folder in my Dropbox account automatically. I then want the same picture to be automatically downloaded onto the Picture frame and shown for my grand parents :-)

  11. Software changes notes / updated manual

    I have just updated the software on my frame and noticed new features such as being able to select what transitions are in use and displaying recent pictures or latest pictures - I don't know the difference between recent and latest and these are not referenced in your user manual and these options are not available on the online configuration page - only from the actual frame.

    It would be great if you had a page to show what changes are made with software, if they could be reflected in your online interface and also an updated manual to reflect…

  12. Transitions between pictures

    Is there anyway to select what transitions the frame uses to get to the next photo? I would choose to change photos more frequently but the wizy "Fly in" , "Spinning" and "Bouncing" transitions are distracting in a room.

    E.g. I would go for a simple fade in, fade out which would make the frame more subtle and allow me to choose more frequent picture changes.

    YES, you can.

    When the slide show is playing just press MENU button. On the left side a menu bar will show up.

    In this menu bar go to the 2nd button from the BOTTOM named “options”, inside go to “transition” and here select or un-select the transition you want or don’t want.

    Inside there is a simple fading effect transition that you can choose.

  14. Slideshow: only Inbox (without local storage or web-folders)

    Hello! Thanks for the great product. I buy it for my grandma in Germany and she love it.
    Is it possible to show only the pictures of the "inbox"?
    the more recent pictures are stored there
    - we didn't want to show ALL web-folders and ALL the local storage - only the recent pictures

  17. Display only on Set week days only

    Option to chose which days of the week the screen is showing.

    i.e. under display options, withe start and close times set. Have Monday to Sunday check boxes. So that I can simply choose which days of the week the screen should display. i.e. weekdays only, etc.

  18. Multi Frame Account - Select Pictures per Frame Control

    With Multi Frame Account, I want to control which frames get certain pictures. My husband's parents are divorced and they HATE each other. I will be controlling the Multi Frame Account and I want to control which Frame gets which pictures cause they don't need to be seeing how the other half of the family is with my child. Also, I want to put more pictures of my family on their frames and more pictures of the husband's side on their frames.

  19. Nicknames

    I'm trying to manage my picture frames. In the select frames list, the frames are named based on the e-mail created. Right now I only have 2 frames and I'm having a hard time remembering who's frame is who's. I plan on adding at least 3 more frames. I will need to make 3 more e-mails that I will need to remember who's created e-mail applies to who. If our frames can have nicknames it'll be easier to manage. So "Alesia_Family" Frame could be nicknamed "Grandma's Frame" and "jalesia" Frame could be Dad's Frame. With the option to have 25…

  20. Please remove the "bounce effect" when manually going thru pictures; it's really annoying!

    The bounce effect is nice the first 2 or 3 times it is used; after that, it just gets annoying; and it is even more so for older people that are not used to this kind of glitz....and of course, older folks are the majority of users.

    The bounce effect also seems to slow down the ability to progress rapidly through pictures. If you must keep this effect, make it optional.

    This brings up another request. It would be nice to be able to manually move quickly through an album. Moving one picture at a time is tedious (especially with…

    Could you contact us by email at ’ info@pix-star.com ’ we will give you an updated version without this bounce effect.

    To navigate more quickly inside an album that is playing in the slide show use the THUMBNAIL this has been design for quick navigation.

    When slideshow is playing, press the MENU button then choose the 3rd button from bottom the thumbnail will open then navigate quickly to the picture you want to show and press OK/Play to play it back in slide show.
