Add a custom countdown calendar
It would be great to add a custom countdown calendar. Select a date in the future with a custom title so everyday it counts down to the special event or holiday! So let's say 10 days to Christmas or 3 years 15 days until retirement!

Night mode
I’d like to have a night mode setting. I currently leverage motion sensor activation, but I don’t want it triggered during certain hours. Having the night mode disable the sensor would help not blind me when I walk by in the pitch dark. Similarly, for those who still want to see their pictures in the dark, allow night mode to automatically dim the screen.

Please add touch screen and I will buy my second one asap!
I bought this for my mom and I love it so much that I want one. The only reason why I haven't bought is because it doesn't have a touch screen. My husband found one online that does and now we are going back and forth. I want the touch screen.

Display of Photo Name
There are a few limitations in the way the frame display a Picture Name
First, the length appears to be limited to 49 characters, which is too few.
Second, when the length exceeds 49 characters, the frame shortens it by leaving out text in the middle of the Picture Name.
I have a lot of pictures of Paintings, which contain the name of the Painter, the title of the Painting and the year it was made.
When I look at text on the frame, I really don't care about the Pix-Star picture number or the fact that it is in…3 votes -
Seems that Pix-Star frame creates its own index of a DLNA feed.
It would be useful to have an option to skip the Pix-Star indexing. It's quite slow and results in pictures being sorted in a different order than my DLNA server's tree.
The sort-order menu item on the Pix-Star doesn't seem to work with a DLNA feed. I've tried two servers: miniDLNA and Gerbera. In both cases the sort order doesn't work.

Select specific albums to display via web interface (pix-star.com)
Allow the user to select specific Pix-star web albums on the Pix-star website to display in the Pix-star frame.
For example, if I have 20 web albums I want to be able to select 1-7, 11, 15-17 and 20. The unselected albums will not display on the frame. If I decide to add album 8 and remove album 2 I can do so.
This allows the user to display web folder content in context/as desired - for example holiday pictures, or pictures of visiting family/friends, and so on.

Inbox folder mode should show the sender's name on the frames main menu of folders
When sending photos via the phone app the frame creates an inbox folder with a name made up of twelve numbers and letters, and no indication who the sender is. The info is there because if you login to your account and select "My Inbox" and then choose "filter by sender", info will be displayed as photo sent by "name of phone" for example: Bob's iPhone followed by the twelve character ID created for the folder name. It would be very helpful if the frame displayed the sender's phone name as part of the folder name, same as the web…

I would like to be able to add my wifes onedrive account as a second external source

In your web browser first go to OneDrive web site and then LOG OUT. STAY in the same web browser and not go to www.pix-star.com log in and go to
Import external pictures.
Then click on the OneDrive icon and this time enter the credentials of the other OneDrive account you want to use then import the albums you want.

Show photos from QNAP Photostation 5 virtual albums
I have QNAP NAS model 219P+ with Photostation 5. Photostation 5 has the ability to organize "virtual" albums from pictures stored in the folders. The albums created under Photostation do show up in Pixstar frame under the DLNA connection, but none of the photos in the album show. Would love to be able to organize photos from across the NAS into single album for display on PixStar frame.

Simultaneous view on my computer what is being viewed on the frame
I would love to be able to see on my computer what my mom is seeing on her frame, while I talk to her on the phone. She is in a nursing home, and loves her frame, and we her kids love to send pictures and talk about them. If we could have the same view simultaneously, that would enhance the experience for us so much!

OneDrive Album support
Please add support for OneDrive Albums. Right now I can select particular folders within OneDrive, but I want to show specific pictures within my folders. I could "put" those pictures in a OneDrive album (it's not a physical file, just some kind of tagging within OneDrive) and then connect my frame to that album.

Use your Contact List e-mails in the filtering.
If you have an exsiting contact list, have it so when you are putting filtering in place you can pull from those contacts. Or import or have them as your filter.

Caption and Story Annotation
The most strongly supported suggestion (currently under Pix-Star review) relates to picture captioning enhancement. I strongly support this concept, but I’d like to see it go further, to provide greater flexibility. The extended system would allow annotation of each picture with an entire story, if desired. The caption and story collection for a Pix-Star frame would reside in a database file. The system architecture is as follows:
• In frame setup, a user could specify the location of a single database file. A Pix-Star frame would not require a database file if its user did not need the associated features.…4 votes -
Bulk Delete pictures in SPAM folder (Web Interface)
There is no option to bulk delete pictures that make the spam folder. You have to individually select each picture and delete the selection. There should be a "Purge Spam" folder option that removes all pictures in the folder.

Allow me to step through photos shown on frame from the web app.
While on the phone with the person viewing the frame I would like to control which photo is being displayed from the web interface. This would make it easier to narrate a slide show for someone who may have trouble using the remote.
