  1. I like to play my songs randomly while I have my pictures displayed randomly. Can this be implemented? No other frame offers this feature.

    We have a already a software update with the random (shuffle) feature for audio playing, we will make it available to everyone next week, just check on your frame for the software update notification.

  3. Audio Files Need Feature for Random Play

    We’ve just put online a new version that adds this feature. You can download it directly from the frame at the bottom of the main menu, a notification should be visible now.

  4. Do not show the (very) small pictures

    The frame show also the very very small picture. They are so small that it is useless to show them. It would be great to be able to configure a requirement for the size of the pictures to be shown.

  5. Optional up-scaling of small images

    I show Instagram images on the frame that are mostly 800x800 at the moment. This are slightly less than the device resolution, so I got a black frame around images.

    This is also essential for gif animations, as they are usually quite small and take about 20-30% of the screen space.

    Is there any chance you can add an upscale option, so more screen space is used?

    Hello,

    we wil implement a mode

    Fit to screen (keep ratio)

    which will apply only if the picture is not really small, meaning that the condition will be something like maximum different with the screen less than 30%, otherwise more than that it will be really look too pixelated till not acceptable.

  7. Way to see most recent pics in inbox. When i show the frame to people it used to wow I h m when i took a pic of them and it would show up

    I have so many inbox pics now that the new ones dont show up quickly, so when i demo the frame people dont see the pic i took of them.

    This feature already exist you can activate it in the menu change settings then go to “slide show” and here to “play mode”, inside either use the mode " show latest pictures " or the mode " repeat latest pictures more often".

  8. SAMBA Client

    The frame already has a SAMBA server, so why not enable the SAMBA client so it could connect to a shared folder on a NAS drive to pull photos from. NAS and home storage is very popular (the main reason I purchased Pix-Star over Nixplay was DLNA support)

  9. Display more than one Pix-Star Albums in the Pix-star frame

    I would like to be able to define several smaller albums and then send two or more of them to the frame. As for now i have to merge the wanted albums into a "to be displayed" album and then send it to the frame.

    Hello,

    This is already possible from inside the frame user interface.

    Go to " my web album pictures" and inside go to your provider name ten you can select which album(s) to play.

    this is not possible remotely from the web site for technical reasons.

    Do you have any partner in Korea to distribute your product.

    I'm strongly hope to distribute your product in Korea. I can make your product with Korean (Language) and I can also support KC certification.

  12. Publish a suggested list of RSS Photo Feeds

    I'm running out of pictures to display on my frame, which sits on my desk at work (so it's looked at all day, every day). I have the time set to 1 minute to space them out. Can you publish a list of suggested RSS photo feed URL's so we can easily add some stock images to the frame? I've had a hard time finding these on my own.

  13. Allow web albums to be sent to the frame for offline use

    Please add a way to send albums (or selected images in a web album) to the frame for offline use.

    Alternatively, add a new album type to the web page, Frame Album, that is automatically copied to the frame, much like the e-mail inbox.

    It is already like this.

    All web albums are completely downloaded to the frame’s local memory and stay inside the memory so that even without Wi-Fi you can play them.

    It is NOT streaming.

    Hello,

    iCloud is a service from Apple and only for Apple. It is not open to 3rd parties. So none except Apple can access to this service to build new application. For this reason it is not possible for u stop import pictures from iCloud to the frame and no one except Apple is able to do so.

    The might change in the future so we will follow up on this closely but on the short term there is no solution.

    It's currently only possible to search for DLNA servers over WiFi. Please can this be changed so that USB Ethernet is also supported.

  17. Improve the video playback.

    Playing videos has problems. The entire soundtrak plays while Pixstar displays the first frame, then the video plays with no sound.

  18. User interface needs a key/legend

    The page where I can view my photo Inbox has a green light besides some photos and a red light besides others. I have no idea what this means. Thanks!

    If you gently put the mouse on the little red or green dot (without clicking on it) you get a pop up window showing up with the relevant detailed explanation of the meaning of the red and green dot.

  20. Android app should be able to access SD card

    The Android app is currently unable to access pictures stored on my (micro) SD card in my phone. (it only finds pictures in the phone's internal memory.) Please update it to be able to access all picture and video files on my phone!
