  1. Periodic Re-Scan of Network Folders

    I am an amateur Photographer - I store my pictures on my Photography PC and have sync software that distributes those pictures to my other PCs (for screensaver and viewing on the road) and to my NAS for long-term Storage. I would love it if the frame had an option to periodically rescan the selected folder(s) - perhaps as it is entering the stand-by mode? - to assure that the slideshow always contains the most recent entries to the folders.

    Hello,

    You can already display the subject of the email as a caption at bottom of the image in the slide show inside the frame.

    Go to change settings menu then to Slide show menu.

    here go to

    display details.

    inside choose " display subject".

    then in the slide show the subject will show on the picture.

    REAMRK: this does not work in collage mode you need to switch to the mode where it shows 1 picture at a time on the screen.

    It would be nice to be able to select all of your photos at one time to share them with another account or move them

  4. Questions on Pix-Star Google Photo Integration

    I keep all my photos organized on Google Photos....I am looking for a frame that will randomly cycle my photos from Google Photos so I do not have to update the frame manually each time I have new photos. Is it possible for your frame to randomly cycle the Google Photos I have... ? How does the integration work between Google Photos and your frame ?

  5. Why is there no ability to rotate the pictures on the web interface?

    Rotating pictures on the web interface is necessary for those looking after a frame. Otherwise the elderly person needs to sit with the crappy remote and hit 6 or 7 buttons QUICKLY everytime a infrequent picture comes up.....not everyone sits there with the remote in their hand waiting to rotate. Please fix this.

  6. How to avoid duplication on my uploaded photo?

    If I upload photos sometimes there is a duplication. Can I avoid this?

  7. Allow multiple folders to play, but not all

    I would like the ability to select multiple (but not all) folders to be played. It looks like it's either one or all. How about some in-between? I have to work around this by creating a new folder and copying the ones I want to play to it, then select this new folder to be played.

    Hello,

    While it is true you cannot do this selection from the web site, you can do it inside the frame going to “my web albums pictures” menu inside the frame then enter inside the supplier name and then inside you can select the albums to play.

  8. Be able to add photos to existing albums.

    It seems you can't add upload pictures to an existing Web Album that has been created. You can Copy to an album, but that just requires an extra step of creating a new album, and then copying to the album you want.

    Hello,

    yes it is possible from the inbox to copy pictures to an existing pix-star web album.

    just select the pictures, then in the drop down menu choose the destination web album and they are copied.

  9. Sleep Timer

    Add a sleep timer option for sensor during sleep hours. I would love to have a setting to it turn off between 10pm-8am automatically.

    Weather should update hourly. Only updates once a day early morning which is very misleading in the afternoon.

    Hello,

    To switch the time to 24h mode go to the frame change settings menu then here go to “language” and choose the 2nd english language (english UK) then automatically time will be 24h.

  12. Display the reminders for each day with the daily information pages (calendar and weather).

    I would like to use this feature to remind my mom of appointments but I'm afraid she won't be looking at the frame when the reminder is displayed. If the reminders were displayed with the daily information, she would be more likely to see this information. Thank you!

  13. Data plan?

    I am looking at buying this for my son's 87 year old great-grandmother. But she does not have wifi or even internet access. Could it be possible to connect this through my data plan, like I do for a tablet? Maybe that is already a feature?

  14. Rename web albums

    Please make it possible to rename a web album. Right now it only takes the name from the source folder (OneDrive in my instance). And I've *neatly" ordered my photos in folders accoring to year and subfolders with months. It's confusing when all my albums are "July" (that's our vacation month ;) )

  15. The ability to edit alarms/reminders online

    It would be most helpful to be able to edit existing alarms and reminders online. I would love to be able to change the time on a reminder rather than having to create a new alarm/reminder with the new time and then having to delete the old reminder.

  16. I try to add "Buffalo" in the suggest a city field. It says it is added, but changes it to "Buffalo Lake" in Minnesota.

    It seems this city would have be added outside the "suggest a city" field. Manually added via admin is the solution, I believe.

  18. Automatically move pictures from internal memory to sd card

    Since the SD card is not used to expand the internal memory nor is it accessible through samba (for technical reasons). Could it not be possible to have the option to have internal memory pictures automatically moved to the SD card?

  19. Sort pictures on website in reverse order

    When viewing an album on the website, the photos are sorted by the upload date. It would be much more useful to sort in the reverse order so the most recent are at the top. I often use this web view to see what the most recent photos I uploaded are, and right now I have to scroll to the bottom which takes forever as the photos load 20 at a time.

  20. More detail in the user manual

    Have a "generic" manual to print and send out with the frame. Maybe have a much more detailed manual on-line. Put ALL the information for the settings options in the on-line manual. Update the on-line manual as you make all the wonderful changes it looks like you're making based on customer feedback. Put a link in the printed manual you send out and encourage people to look there for new features.
