Show pictures in Onedrive subfolders
Please could you add this functionality either as a sensible default or an option?
I am scanning thousands of family photos to a Onedrive folder which is shared with my father's Pix-Star. Within that one folder the pictures are organised into many subfolders by subject and decade.
Surely it should be very easy to do this? It was suggested here several years ago and got 32 upvotes. There was a response saying the R&D team would look into it but no further updates or progress apparently.

this is already supported. you can just click on the folder when you see it in pix-star.com and it will expand.

add another one drive account
I would like to be able to add my wifes onedrive account as a second external source

In your web browser first go to OneDrive web site and then LOG OUT. STAY in the same web browser and not go to www.pix-star.com log in and go to
Import external pictures.
Then click on the OneDrive icon and this time enter the credentials of the other OneDrive account you want to use then import the albums you want.

Use your Contact List e-mails in the filtering.
If you have an exsiting contact list, have it so when you are putting filtering in place you can pull from those contacts. Or import or have them as your filter.

Bulk Delete pictures in SPAM folder (Web Interface)
There is no option to bulk delete pictures that make the spam folder. You have to individually select each picture and delete the selection. There should be a "Purge Spam" folder option that removes all pictures in the folder.

Delete photos from frame remotely
Please add instructions for how to delete from frame remotely. We have finally figured it out after trial and error and got no help from your staff. You can only delete from frame when frame is ON. Otherwise you are deleting from the online view and they stay on the frame. The option to remove from frame only shows up if the frame happens to be on. This is an important instruction when the frame owners can not remove things on their own. Once you delete from account online, you can not see the ones on the frame that you…

Allow me to step through photos shown on frame from the web app.
While on the phone with the person viewing the frame I would like to control which photo is being displayed from the web interface. This would make it easier to narrate a slide show for someone who may have trouble using the remote.

In play mode, need option for N most recent pics
example.. only play 20 most recent pics or
10 most recent picsthis would be very useful especially for inbox received pics.

Create a way to hold down the ctrl key and select multiple pictures to delete at one time.
In windows you can hold the ctrl key and select one photo, then move to the last photo and click. It would select multiple photos at one time to delete.

Display the file name before the transition.
In situations where you have a long transition and a very short picture display time, the frame almost spends more time displaying the previous pictures file name while on the current picture. By moving the file name display call to immediately prior to the initial new picture display (before transition), it would make it much easier to both preview the pictures & names, in addition to making it make more sense for people who are watching.

It would be nice to be able to turn off weather and calendar widgets and just allow the display of pictures
In the frame configuration panel give the user the ability to turn off features from displaying like weather and calendar date. This would allow the user to just experience the pictures.

Allow display of specific picture via web interface
Sometimes while talking to my grandma I want to bring up a specific picture for her. Would be nice if that were possible via the web app. Specifically, bring up a specific picture for a certain amount of time.

Please change email verbiage for accounts allowed to send to the "WHITE LIST" and the not allowed "BLACK LIST"
When setting up emails that are ALLOWED to send or NOT ALLOWED, they are referred to as the WHITE LIST or BLACK LIST! Can we please using different verbiage to describe or just delete this label for these lists? Thank you

SAMBA server - drop the insecure SMB v1, upgrade to v2+
The original SMB protocol (v1) has been deprecated for years, known to be very insecure (remember WannaCry?).
Current systems don't even support connecting to that by default. In Windows 10 - since v1709 - you'd have to manually activate the old "SMB 1.0/CIFS client" feature to access this picture frame. And that is a BAD idea to have it enabled on a regular basis (makes you vulnerable to all kinds of attacks when connecting to any OTHER samba servers).My question is: do you even plan updating this (in firmware)? And when?

New market
I feel there is a market untouched. I believe Every privately owned assisted living facilities should provide a pic-star frame to their new residents. Which will allow family to upload pictures live to their elderly love ones!! Just saying... I’d approach them!! 🤷🏻♀️

Support High Efficiency Image Format (.HEIC files)
Apple switched to .HEIC files a couple years ago and Android is adopting them as well, but these files don't appear on my Pix-Star PXT510WR04 FotoConnect XD 10.4 inch. Please update the firmware of existing frames to support Support High Efficiency Image Format. I know my phone can be configured to use JPEG files, but configuring my phone to overcome a limitation of a PIx-Star frame isn't the way to promote Pix-Star in 2019 and beyond.
In the meantime, please add a Knowledge Base article describing High Efficiency Image Format, the plan for Pix-Star support, and which frames will support…

Send sending for the iOS app they were already supported before.

Support newer top-level domains for account email address
I would like to change my account email address (not my picture frame email address). My new address uses a newer ".email" top-level domain. When I try to change it, the settings page says, "Sorry, this email address is not valid." It is valid though, and I was wondering if we could get that changed.
